Organic Gardening is Simple by Jill Scott

About the Author - Jill Scott was brought up on a farm in County Kilkenny, no electricity, telephone or mains water in those days. Herbicides and pesticides were virtually unknown, so farm life was organic. She and her husband Mark have lived in County Fermanagh since 1978. Their garden in Letterbreen won various prizes, the being the Ulster Wildlife Garden Challenge. In 1999 Jill was Northern Ireland runner in the BBC Gardener of the Year competition, and since their move to Belcoo she and Mark have won the Irish Garden magazine's Best Garden in Fermanagh award four times. Both gardens have neen open for charity for many years and have been on TV. The Scotts have been Friends of the Organic Centre since its beginning, and still do voluntary work there. Jill also gives talks to groups and societies. They feel they are very fortunate people.
