Cucumber Telegraph Improved is an improved strain of the popular English heirloom variety cucumber. It is a much-loved variety that produces smooth-skinned fruits. The plant is an all-rounder and has been trialled and tested for outstanding garden performance. It produces both male and female flowers and must be trellised to achieve perfectly shaped fruits. The seeds can be sown singly in pots from February to May, and germinated at 15°C (60°F) for 7-10 days. It is a greenhouse type and can be sown inside from March to April.
