Groninger Brussels sprout is an old landrace with a high variation. The sprouts that are not nicely closed can be used in stews. It is an ideal vegetable for autumn and winter. Brussels sprout should grow slowly to obtain the highest quality. Make sure they are continuously getting a moist soil.
